Mostly. I'm still waiting on some paint I ordered to come in but the dent's been pulled out and the patch where the paint was damaged is all prepped for paint. I've given up on finding a bumper, I think I'll just suture it together with tiny zipties.

It's a massive improvement. I used one of those headlight kits on the original lights shortly after I got the car but they started getting hazy again after only a year so I just decided to replace them completely.

I always preferred DEPO's, myself : read this, you'll like it.

Those kits kind of always blow, I've used them a couple of times and they don'tt work as advertised.

Mine worked perfectly, it just didn't last as long as I'd have hoped.

Neons don't get enough respect. Sure build quality was shit, but you know what? It was the same with the rest of the domestic economy cars.
The Neon was a landmark, at least for in the American auto industry. When it dropped in 1994, the Neon showed the world that cheap cars didn't have to be miserable . Chrysler designed it from the outset to be fun to drive, and they hit their mark on that one.

Most kits don't last long and are moderately expensive. After trying numerous kits, I ended up taking my parent's Sprinter van to Sam's Club where they $30 to clean and treat them, but you get a 5 year warranty that even covers damage caused by chemicals. After about 6 months, it is still holding up well.

How many other cars from this era had a version that came with a suspension adjustment knob in the glove-box: 0

Hi.

Completely agree. My mother had a '96 Neon Sport in Jade, with a power moonroof and a 5 speed manual transmission, which is what I learned (and learned to love) standards on.
My brother and I used to whip it around a 90 degree turn in our subdivision that wasn't paved, yanking the handbrake, and drifting like we did with a DB7 on Gran Turismo on our Playstation. Good times.

IDK if they planned to use it for this kind of crap ahead-of-time, or not - but the chassis is solid. No doubt.

For awhile we entertained installing a cold air intake, but decided to get motorcycles instead.

Yeah, N/A tricks in a neon just render you more likely to suck up road debris and waste money.
Going fast on a bike is much more economical/dangerous. I go fast on the bike, when the car is down, but I prefer to vector four wheels, myself.

It's looking great! :D Reminds me of how I felt when I switched to smoked cobra headlights on the 'Stang.
